Cummings Lumber Hosts AHEC for Global Hardwood Film Series

Cummings Lumber was pleased to share its facility with the American Hardwood Export Council and their European Director David Venables. AHEC is producing a series of short (social media) information films that document the process from tree harvest through all stages of production. David and his video crew spent an entire day filming our sawmill process, final grading, and shipment of kiln dry lumber. 

This is a new global approach to how AHEC communicates how the industry turns these valuable trees into raw material for manufacturers around the world to use. It’s a dedicated and complex process that is rarely understood, especially amongst decision makers such as architects and designers. They believe that their target audiences have less time to read articles or visit websites, but they will watch and absorb information through short films.
