Today, May 27th, 2025, we’re incredibly proud to celebrate a truly remarkable milestone: John Redell III, our esteemed Head Forester, has been with Cummings Lumber Company for 45 years!

For over four decades, John has been an invaluable pillar of our team. His kindness, professionalism, and unwavering hard work have not only shaped our forestry operations but have also fostered a truly supportive and respectful environment within the company.

We simply cannot thank him enough for his commitment to sustainable practices and his consistent pursuit of excellence.

As Memorial Day approaches, we at Cummings Lumber Company, Barefoot Flooring, and Barefoot Pellet Company want to take a moment to reflect on the profound meaning of this important day.

On Monday, May 26th, 2025, our offices and operations will be closed. This decision is made with immense gratitude and respect for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation and our freedom.
